FAQs
Common questions
Do I need a new fuse board?
Not always, and we’ll give you an honest answer! Signs include an old board with fuse wire, no RCD protection or a failed EICR, so we’ll check and tell you straight whether it really needs replacing.
How disruptive is a rewire?
Less than you might fear! There’s some disruption, but we plan the work in stages where we can, put dust sheets down and clean as we go.
My breaker keeps tripping – what should I do?
Good news: there’s a simple first step! Unplug the appliances on that circuit and try resetting it once. If it keeps tripping, don’t keep resetting it; book a fault-finding visit and we’ll track down the cause.
How quickly will I get an estimate?
Quickly! It’s usually within 5 working days of the visit, with a clear breakdown of the costs and the work.
